The Clinton Fire Department is an all-volunteer department serving the City of Clinton and the surrounding rural area. Our crew responds to structure fires, grass and field fires, vehicle accidents, and other emergencies. We also provide mutual aid to neighboring departments across Big Stone County.

Burn Permits
A burning permit is required for any open burning within the city limits. Permits are free and remain valid through December 31 of the current year. To obtain a new permit or renew an existing one, please contact the Fire Department.
